System Job: MSA-Social Networking: Twitter-Get External Updates (On-Demand) WF error

May 12, 2010 at 9:47 PM

When attempting to run the Twitter-Get External updates Workflow (On-Demand)

Workflow stops at Waiting state; when I looked at the Sys Job, I get an Error: No Attribute

Error is at 1st step:  Get External Updates since last run:

Viewing properties: Username, Password, Last Id show = show Dynamic values

Any help is much appreciated

I have the same error and I'm currently working with MSFT CRM Support to fix. I ran a platform trace using the CRM 4.0 Diag tool. I found the missing attribute:

msa_sncoordinates

Not sure what it is, or where it goes or if you then have to re-config the Social Networking Integration Configuration XML.

I'll keep you posted. If anyone else knows the solution to this error, please let us know...

Hey,

The Tace did the trick. There are 3 fields in the MSA_snStatus Entity that are not supplied in the installation's Customization's file. I knew there was 1 missing (covered in another discussion in this forum) and 1 that was mentioned in my platform trace. I googled the latter and found it mentioned in a CRM forum thread (in German), which pointed out a 3rd missing attribute. Luckily for me (I don't speak German) all 3 were included in the post. This'll give you their names, data type, and length so you can add them post-install, and it will finally run the GetUpdate WF successfully!

I wish it didn't take as long as it did to find the answer though...
