Encrypt the Contact Record Id for the Email

I have a strange case, for an unknown reason to me, the workflow is not creating the encrypted record id when steping into "Encrypt the Contact Record Id for the Email". The result y a:


address without the ID. Can somebody help me on this?, I have a very upset user with a "Server Error in '/' Application." message and no answer or path to follow.
